What is a Tip?
The tip is a way to support your favorite creator by offering a voluntary contribution. Unlike Pay-to-View, the tip is not linked to specific content or a particular request. It’s a spontaneous donation from you to thank and encourage your creator.
Am I required to send tips to a creator?
No, not at all. Fans are not required to give tips to creators. It’s a voluntary and spontaneous action, to be taken only if you wish to.
What do I get in return for my tips?
The tip is a voluntary payment you offer to your content creator. Therefore, there is no expectation of a return. It’s a way to show your appreciation and support without expecting anything in return.
How do I send a tip?
You can send a tip to a creator in several ways.
From your feed: On a post, click on the Tip icon next to the “Like” button. Select the amount you want to give, then fill in the details of your payment method.
From the messaging interface: If you’re subscribed to a creator you regularly chat with, you can send a tip directly from the conversation. The Tip icon is located at the bottom of the message window when you’re writing a new message.
I made a mistake with the amount of a tip. What should I do?
You have the freedom to choose the amount of your tip. If you think you've made a mistake in the amount you've sent, we strongly recommend discussing possible solutions directly with the creator.
